My Creative Space: Turtle Softie

Meet Henrietta ....

How cute is she? In a kind of lumpy, lopsided sort of way, but that just adds character right?

I used this pattern and tutorial here. It was really simple and easy to follow, perfect for a bit of light weight sewing. (I was actually working on her in between the two earthquakes on Monday. I'm just glad I wasn't doing any actual sewing when they hit!)

So cute, can you use it as a pin cushion?

Very cute, love the fabric!

Glad to hear you were somewhere safe when the quakes hit, I was in the middle of Riccarton mall for the first one. Not pretty!

Stay safe, can't imagine what it must be like with all the earthquakes and tremors.
