My Creative Space: Sock Monkey

One of the projects on my Christmas list was to make a sock monkey for Riley ....


I was a bit apprehensive when I started as I'm not very good at hand stitching. Luckily for me this project is really forgiving and I'm so pleased with how the little guy turned out. I used this tutorial here. I changed his ears slightly and you may notice that he is lacking a mouth but I like him that way.

I've always wanted to make a sock monkey, I'm not sure why I've never done it (I should probably get onto it before my kids grow up!!)
