Fingerless Mitts

This was a super quick and easy project. No pattern required and great for using up some leftover yarn that I had lying around. The mitts are worked in rows of Half Double Crochet and sewn up the side. I added the band of grey at the top when I ran out of blue yarn and they weren't quite long enough.

Riley loves them. Don't they look cute with his little fingers peeking out?

They do look cute! And toasty warm too.

I still can't crochet properly. I am all fingers and thumbs and can never get my tension right.

Great little mitts! I remember having fingerless gloves when I was a kid and I loved them!

They look nice and cosy and soft too Fay.....
Still plenty of chilly weather in which to wear them....

So cute and very practical, too, as it's much easier to do things without the fingers.
